I have never considered the end (or beginning) of the year as a time for big changes or new resolutions. And yet there is something inspiring about seasonality, cycles, and natural calendar breaks. Today, I am proudly reflecting on the growth of FullCircle, looking back on some of the writing I’ve done over the past three years.
I started Closing the loop with a post on the critical need for childcare infrastructure in the US to build a more diverse and prosperous workforce. At the time, we had a little over 300 subscribers and an open rate consistently hovering above 60%.
To date, we have published 44 posts and almost tripled our subscribers (albeit deliberately slowly and entirely organically) while maintaining an open rate above 50%. Writing helps me refine FullCircle’s thesis, source investments and thoughtfully exchange with other investors, researchers and practitioners on the topics most relevant to making work more accessible, rewarding and adaptable.
The launch of Work in Progress earlier this month is in perfect alignment with that objective and brings continuity to the topics covered in Closing the loop. A meticulously curated group of 60 bold leaders gathered in Miami to start developing the framework and success metrics for a new era of work, intentionally and collaboratively crafted at the intersection of technological innovation and human flourishing. Our pre-read highlighted our preliminary pillars and workstreams.
Over the coming months, Closing the loop will uncover the actionable insights emerging from the Work in Progress community, becoming an even more powerful crowdsourcing mechanism to advance our collective mission of creating a more dynamic and inclusive workforce. As always, if you are a founder iterating on innovative solutions related to our working thesis and pillars of work evolution, please respond directly here and/or fill out this form. We look forward to hearing from you!
